Meetings

We meet at 7.30pm on the third Thursday of the month at:-

Alton Community Centre
Amery Street
Alton
GU34 1HN

Meetings are usually attended by 50 – 60 members and typically consist of a talk from an invited speaker with an interval for light refreshments providing member with the opportunity to also have a chat.

In addition to the regular “plant of the month”, we are introducing a new competition. When you bring a visitor to the meeting you earn a point, two points if they join the society. A visitor must be unique to gain a point – in other words you can’t bring the same visitor twice and expect a point each time! There will be a prize for the winner at the AGM.
